Is the Tea Party Movement Christian? According to two very Senior sources within the Christian establishment, it’s not. Not even close.
Charity Towards The Poor
Jesus Says:
Matthew 5:42: 42 Give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you.
Matthew 25:34-36: 34 Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’
Mark 10:21-22: 21 And Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “You lack one thing: go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” 22 Disheartened by the saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
Bottom line: Jesus says that by showing kindness and charity towards the poor, you are showing it to him and doing as he commanded.

The Tea Party Does:
Votes to CUT the Federal food assistance program, SNAP, by $39 Billion when 1 in 6 Americans live in food insecure households: 33.1 million adults and 15.9 million children.
Chooses to SPEND $24 Billion to shut down the U.S. Government in an attempt to prevent uninsured Americans from receiving healthcare. 800,000 Americans were immediately put in line for the very benefits they just cut.
Bottom line: Screw you! Get a job, you bums!
“In ideologies there is not Jesus: in his tenderness, his love, his meekness. And ideologies are rigid, always. Of every sign: rigid…And when a Christian becomes a disciple of the ideology, he has lost the faith: he is no longer a disciple of Jesus, he is a disciple of this attitude of thought… For this reason Jesus said to them: ‘You have taken away the key of knowledge.’…it is a serious illness, this of ideological Christians. It is an illness.”
Love
Jesus Says:
John 13:34-35: 34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

The Tea Party Does:
Please read the original article “Not Racist?” on All Things Democrat.
The best part? They had the audacity to attack Rep. Alan Grayson for pointing out the truth:
The Tea Party may not all be Southern white racists, but the ones that are, well, they like their crosses a little more ‘festive’.

So what do you guys think? Is the Tea Party Christian or are they minions of the Anti-Christ?
Leave me a comment, I want to know!
